When Rob decided to propose, he thought he would cook up something a little different. Jenna walked into a dining room full of rose petals, she knew it would be no ordinary breakfast. Rob had baked, “Will you marry me?” into a very special pancake. Jenna confided that “this breakfast was a nod to our love of cooking and the beginning of a recipe to a successful and amazing future together.” When I photographed Jenna and Rob’s engagement session, I could tell that these two were cooking with gas!
I also knew that their wedding would be akin to a recipe of tender, sweet moments. In the photograph below I captured their “first look”. You can feel how at ease they are in each others company and that they are great friends. Jenna expressed it this way, “For us, being married is not the start of something new; it’s the continuation of our incredible relationship.”
I have always loved a visual of the couple walking away. It strikes me as a symbol of the beginning of their journey together.
Jenna summed up the wedding experience: “We surrounded ourselves with all of our closest friends, family, and loved ones. We created a romantic setting, filled the room with gorgeous flowers, danced to the best band, and captured the moments with the finest photographer. We had a wonderful, fantastic, extraordinary time at our wedding!”
