I Am Cuba

Many of you may not be aware of a project that I have been involved with for many years.  That experience has been photographing Cuba. It all started with a trip in 1996 to satisfy a curiosity about my heritage. What happened once I arrived was completely unexpected.  That trip and countless others have changed my life in so many ways.

This image to me speaks of the awareness of the Cubans and their surroundings. I was once told that in Cuba what you do is never private and that you cannot keep anything from Fidel. How that turned out to be so true…

Look forward to more images of Cuba by returning to our site…

Suerte,

Roy
