“A daughter is one of the most beautiful gifts this world has to give.” ~ Laurel Atherton
Fifteen years ago Mikalya’s parents were married! And I was there to capture the many moments that took place on that wonderful day. You can understand my excitement and joy when I was invited to continue to document the legacy of life in this family’s story. I’ve been a Miami wedding and Bar/Bat Mitzvah photographer for over 25 years and I continue to create, for thousands of families, visual memories of their most important life events. It has been quite the experience for me as well. So with Mikayla’s family, I can attest to two weddings and two Bat Mitzvahs and a future Bar Mitzvah already scheduled. Like a parent watching their children grow, I too get to watch my photographic families grow!
It is with great pleasure that I now present Mikayla’s Bat Mitzvah!
Creating great portraits before the event is a wonderful idea for many reasons. One it’s an opportunity to connect with your photographer. Trust and confidence is built upon such moments, connections are made, and the opportunity to express what’s important is vital to the success of any session.
You’ll have a series of great portraits that serve as a treasured keepsake to be shared for generations to come, and the images can be used for guest sign in books, decor, and posters for decorating the party space.
The day of the Bat Mitzvah we met for some wonderful portraits with Mikayla, her parents, sisters , grand parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Why before you may ask? Well after the service there was a celebration to experience!
It was wonderful to have had the opportunity to photograph the actual service at B’nai Torah Congregation in Boca Raton! Thank you Rabbi Steinhardt!
I just love Mom’s expression of love and joy in the image above. I know that this is an exciting time for family and friends!
I love that the portraits taken before this day were so well utilized in the decor for Mikayla’s celebration. Large images make such an impact!
As in every Jewish event the hora is a joyous part of the celebration!
Mom and Dad are definitely enjoying the experience…why I think the last time they were in chairs for a hora, it would have been at their wedding! I was there too!
Mikayla is a very talented dancer and joined the professional dancers at the party. She held her own ~ this girl has talent!
Ross, of “Rock With U Entertainment” was electric~ so professional and so much fun to work with. What a great vibe at this party!
What a moment with Mikayla and her Dad…one that will be repeated at a wedding in the future…ooops I think I am planning to far in advance…but I will be ready!
To the family, I want to thank you so much for the trust and confidence you have in me to continue to capture the most important moments in your family life. I look forward to more!
Great events don’t just happen, they take the many talents of quite a few amazing teams of creatives. Thank you all for your contribution to Mikayla’s Bat Mitzvah experience!
