St Hugh Catholic Church Wedding Miami Tower Celebration

Being a Miami Wedding photographer, I am privileged to witness and capture so many amazing moments in the lives of a couple in love, their parents and loved ones. But what hit me today is their moments are also my memories. I live a wedding day from beginning to end and before that I quite often am privy to their experiences of meeting, their proposal and the experience of planning a wedding.

So today I want to share with you the amazing St Hugh Catholic Church wedding of Joie and Reinier!

And the joy of Mom helping her daughter as she prepares for her special moment ~ imagine the moments Mom shared getting her daughter ready for ballet recitals, communion, proms and graduations ~ and now a wedding!

The knowing looks of this is our moment, our time and that we are finally getting married!

The dreams and hopes that are floating in each and every bubble…

A grand entrance and an amazing first dance with a twirl of fabric and an excited look on Joie’s face…

…to the moment that Reinier is surprised by Sebastian the Ibis ~ the famous Miami Hurricane mascot ~ this was a surprise folks as Reinier had no idea and Sebastian popped in just as they were cutting their wedding cake!

And this moment when Joie’s sister catches the bouquet! Rumor has it that she too is engaged ~ maybe there is something to catching the bridal bouquet!

I have it on good authority that the napkin on the head has some deep roots on the Bride’s side and so Reinier has been crowned ~ that’s Joie’s Dad on the left lifting him up…
