Epiphany Catholic Church  |  Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden

You may recall the wonderfully engaging story about Casey + Michael’s engagement in a recent blog post. I had a great time photographing these two then and was looking forward to their wedding weekend to arrive.

I have always felt that what makes a wedding are the people that surround you. Casey and Michael share an exuberance for life and that translates into great family and friends!

Epiphany Catholic Church was the architecturally stunning setting for their wedding. Casey and her sisters grew up in this beautiful parish and Monsignor O’Doherty spoke fondly of the families and the joys of being Irish.

Trying to sneak away in the the lush gardens of Fairchild Tropical Botanical Gardens to enjoy a quiet moment. These gardens are a maze of wonderful waterfalls, lakes, arbors, flowering vines and an occasional crocodile.

I love to mix it up with fun, casual formals. This wedding party photo certainly attests to the quirks and personalities of the group. Check out those very interesting socks!

Casey and Michael are ready to make their grand entrance into the reception.  They are just so cute together!

I had such a good time photographing this wedding!  Casey had a blast. Surrounded by great friends hamming it up for the camera made for very fun candids. Photographing a wedding is all about catching these amazing moments that I know Casey and Michael will relive over and over again.

After their honeymoon in Exuma in the Bahamas, Casey sent me a little note, “I’m back in Boston and things have finally settled down from all the wedding festivities! Mike and I wanted to thank you so much for all the wonderful pictures you took that weekend. You really seemed to capture some of the best parts of the day!”

Loving life!
