Kelly + Ben, Plymouth Congregational Church Coconut Grove Wedding; Villa Woodbine Wedding Reception

Kelly + Ben had the most incredible Plymouth Congregational Church wedding to start off the New Year! When I tell you I think they had the luck of the Irish…more on that later…it was raining everywhere but where these two were. Always a wonderful moment, Ben seeing Kelly for the first time. The setting at Plymouth Congregational is absolutely from another time…established in 1897…it is a treasure and a thrill to photograph at this unique location. Here’s where the luck of the Irish comes in…Kelly’s dress is a wedding dress from 19th Century Ireland. Never have I seen such intricate, beautiful and luscious details… Kelly, without a doubt is Daddy’s little girl.
The reception took place at another Coconut Grove landmark, Villa Woodbine. Situated on a limestone bluff overlooking Biscayne Bay, Villa Woodbine is one of the finest early twentieth century estates remaining in Coconut Grove. This outstanding Mediterranean Revival style house is noted for its fine detail and craftsmanship. The food was yummy as catered by Bill Hansen Catering…the team that Bill has is celebrated for their exceptional food and service! The cake was created by none other than…Ana Paz Cakes! What did Ben say…? I love this moment…I think someones wiping away lipstick… Again a great wedding to start off 2008!
