Powerful! Each wedding that I get to photograph I am reminded of the incredibly important moment in the lives of our Brides and Grooms and it’s sharing these moments that affirms in my heart that I love what I do!

I often refer to the “first look” as that moment that a Bride and Groom see each other for the first time as such ~ but there’s another first look that’s just as momentous ~ it’s that look when Daddy sees his girl in a wedding gown and the emotions that flow from that vision ~ realize that it’s this moment that is witness by just a few ~ Mom, a couple of bridesmaids and me!

Now I related to you earlier about the “first look” and here’s a wonderful close-up of Jessica and her gaze and the hint of a tear escaping from her right eye as she finally is in the arms of her Groom ~ Alexander.

Powerful moments, moments that I get to witness, capture with my camera ~ a wonderful glimpse into what is at this moment the most important day in the lives of these two soul mates ~ I say soul mates as you may recall the Blog post from their engagement session and the feelings, emotions from that first meeting and proposal. As with most weddings, I find that the end of the wedding ~ looking at my watch and thinking it’s already over! The wedding day yes but it is the beginning of a new family and a wonderful life together!
