Elizabeth + Elliott’s journey could be considered lifelong ~ they met at 4 years of age! How often couples have shared their stories with me about how they met and often how before they were a couple their paths had already crossed. After a change in schools and cities,  Elliott was beginning a new high school and soon enough their paths crossed again ~ eight years later has led to a very original proposal for marriage!

Elliott had planned a day tip to Niagara Falls in June of this year and you can imagine ~ Elizabeth thought this was the moment! Well on the flight back home, you can imagine the confusion and subtle disappointment that Liz might have been feeling. During the flight back, Liz arose to stretch and Elliott saw his opportunity!

“I got up, ring in box in hand, and marched straight down the aisle towards the front of the plane. The stewardess would be my only possible obstacle, but once informed of my plan she happily handed over the intercom.”

“The second my voice sounded over the intercom Liz immediately broke down in tears. I asked  “the girl of my dreams who has given me the best eight years and hopefully will give me 80 more…. to come to the front of the plane.” It wasn’t until the majority of the cabin cheered her on that she arose and made the long trip to the front. Once she reached me I fell on one knee…” I could visualize this in a wonderfully romantic movie ~ couldn’t you?

So as unique as their love story ~  so is their totally radical engagement session! We had a blast discovering some amazing sites in the heart of Miami ~ with Liz and Elliott they were completely open to new, exciting and definitely different! These images were featured at their very recent engagement party and the guests raved about the images and asked where in New York or Los Angeles that these were taken ~ Miami baby ~ only in Miami!
